Asociaciones convocan plantón frente a la Corte de la Constitucionalidad para accionar contra el cobro fijado por castraciones

Para el día de hoy 7 de junio, asociaciones que velan por el bienestar animal convocaron a un plantón frente a la Corte de la Constitucionalidad que tiene como finalidad accionar contra el cobro fijado por castraciones que afectarán las jornadas de castración a bajo costo.
El Alcalde Municipal de Mixco Neto Bran, también se unirá a la convocatoria donde se presentarán acciones en contra la decisión del Colegio de Veterinarios de regular un precio en el cobro por las castraciones de animales.
A principios del 2019, el Colegio de Médicos Veterinarios y Zootecnistas (CMVZ), en una asamblea general, aprobó un reglamento arancelario para la correcta aplicación de la guía de cobros de servicios.
En la guía de cobros dispuesta por el CMVZ el costo de cualquier castración de gatos y perros cuesta Q700, más Q250 de la anestesia, monto que sería impagable para muchos guatemaltecos que no cuentan con los recursos económicos.
