El pasado 1 de Noviembre se anuncia el inicio de la construcción del primer Hospital Veterinario Público en El Salvador!
El presidente de El Salvador anunció que da inicio a la construcción de este primer hospital veterinario público del país, así como lo prometió en campaña. Se planifica que se contruyan 3 hospitales veterinarios en total.
Se planea poder atender hasta 384 consultas diarias de mascotas y animales. El costo de cualquier tratamiento, consulta, grooming e incluso operaciones será de $0.25 ( al rededor de Q2.00) que se deberán pagar mediante la billetera de bitcóin Chivo Wallet para fomentar su uso.
Este hospital dará empleo a 300 salvadoreños amantes de mascotas, veterinarios y administrativos.
Además , el presidente Bukele afirma que presentará a la Asamblea Legislativa una propuesta de ley de bienestar animal, que incluya sanciones contra el maltrato animal y se modificaría el Código Penal.
